Retire later
The normal retirement age is 66 if you have ITP 1 and 65 if you have ITP 2. As a general rule you have ITP 1 if you are born 1979 or later and ITP 2 if you are born 1978 or earlier.
To keep in mind
- If you do not want to retire when you reach the normal retirement age, you have the right to continue to work until you are 69. If you wish to do so, you need your employer´s approval.
- If you work at least eight hours a week, your employer is to pay group occupational insurance premiums on your behalf. You can have TGL until you are 70.
What you need to do
- Prior to reaching the normal retirement age, you inform the insurance company managing your ITP or ITPK pension premiums that you wish to delay pension payments.
